Scholarships

State Scholarships 

  • The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation is proud to offer nine scholarships to Federation members and/or their children.

    State Scholarship Application Deadline: March 1, 2026
  • Livingston Family-H.J. King Memorial Scholarship 
    • $1,500 (one awarded).
    • The Livingston-King scholarship is given in honor of former Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation Presidents Herbert D. Livingston and H.J. King, as well as Buddy and Norma Livingston, the parents of former WyFB President Perry Livingston.
  • Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation Scholarships 
    • $500 each (five awarded).
  • WyFB Continuing Education Scholarships 
    • $500 each (three awarded)
    • The continuing education scholarship recipients must submit at least two semesters of college transcripts.

Albany

Big Horn

—Deadline: April 2, 2026

Big Horn County Farm Bureau Federation is awarding three (3) to four (4) Big Horn County High School Seniors or undergraduate college students a scholarship to attend a technical or trade school, two-year community college, or accredited four-year college or university. The scholarship will be awarded upon proof of enrollment in the fall of 2026. 

BH County Scholarship

Application Requirements: 

  • Applicant must be a resident of Big Horn County
  • Application must be typed or printed
  • Applicant must submit high school or college transcript through the most recent semester of completion
  • Enclose two letters of reference, one from a teacher or counselor, and one from someone not associated with your high school or college.
  • Sign page 2 of the application
  • Be sure all signature lines have been signed
  • Incomplete applications will NOT be considered

Campbell

Deadline: Variable

Three scholarships available: graduating high school student, continuing education, general agriculture scholarship. Please see below for details on each specific scholarship.

  • 1- $2,500 scholarship to a graduating high school senior

  • 1- $2,500 scholarship to a continuing education college student.
    • Deadline 2/13/2026
  • 1- Variable amount scholarship awarded to any member continuing education in the agriculture industry.

Carbon

—April 15, 2026

Carbon County Ranch & Farm Bureau Federation will award at least two scholarships of $750 or more to members, and at least two $500 cash scholarships to both members and non-members. If more than $2,500 is raised, additional scholarships may be awarded, and scholarship values may increase. 

2026 CC Ranch and Farm Bureau Scholarship Application

A successful applicant must meet all the following criteria: 

  • Be a graduating high school senior or have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be enrolled in or planning to attend a college, university, trade school, or other continuing education program.
  • Be 22 years old or younger as of January 1, 2026.
  • Submit a fully completed application (applications with responses that do not align with the set guidelines will not be considered).
  • Ensure the application is received by mail, in person, or via email by 5:00 PM MST on April 15. 

Application preference will be given to:

  • Individuals who are or are children of Carbon County Ranch & Farm Bureau Federation members.
  • Individuals pursuing agriculture-related fields.
  • Individuals who volunteered at the 2026 Carbon County Ranch and Farm Bureau Cowboy Ball.

Converse

$1,000 scholarship - $500 each semester.

Crook

2026 Crook County Scholarship

Criteria:

  • A resident of Crook County and a graduating senior from an accredited Crook County high school, homeschoolor virtual school, or have a certificate of high school graduation/diploma OR 
  • A resident of Crook County and a student at a college, vocational program, or other training.   
  • Applicant or applicant’s parent/guardian MUST have a currentregularmembership in their name with Crook County Farm Bureau Federation, paid up by March 1, of current year.
  • Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA based on a 4.0 scale.

Goshen

2026 Goshen County Scholarship Application

Application is for a $500.00 cash scholarship granted to students attending any accredited college, trade school, or university in the U.S. and is not limited solely to beginning freshmen. Goshen County Farm Bureau is committed to the preservation and promotion of excellence in agriculture as an industry and a way of life through education and support of those who are also dedicated to these principles. To this end, we may give preference to those applicants pursuing Ag-related degrees. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Goshen County High School graduate or G.E.D. recipient
  • Cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 in high school
  • Cumulative 2.0 G.P.A. in college [if applicable]
  • Full-time student (12 credit hours or more)
  • Applicant's family shall be or be willing to become a Goshen County Farm Bureau Federation member or student shall be individual member.

Hot Springs

2026 Lincoln County Scholarship Application

Requirements

  • Family must be a current paid member of Farm Bureau Federation inLincoln County (having insurance with MTN West Form Bureau does not qualify)
  • A letter written by the student outlining their accomplishments and involvement during their High School years, along with a brief explanation of their college goals and educational plans for the future.
  • Students must submit the attached application to the above address/email no later than March 1st, 2026. Scholarships will be awarded by May 15th.

Natrona

Up to four scholarships, ranging from $500 to $1,500, to eligible applicants.

Natrona County Scholarship

These scholarships are open to high school seniors and current college students who demonstrate an interest in agriculture, ranching, or related fields and who are committed to continuing their education.

Park

Park County Scholarship Application

Two $750 scholarships and two $1000 scholarships.

  • Must attend a Wyoming College or University; preference will be given to Northwest College.
  • Renewable if grades are kept above 2.5 semester average.
  • Open to any Park County Farm Bureau Federation Member or children of members.
  • Application can be picked up at all Park County high schools and the Cody and Powell Farm Bureau offices.

Platte

—Deadline: April 1, 2026

Applicant must be a graduating High School senior or continuing education in a university, junior college, or trade school.
$500 is awarded to each winner of a scholarship. A transcript and 2 letters of recommendation are required. (Number of Scholarships given varies). For questions, please contact Sherri Cullen at 307-331-1180.

Sheridan

Three non-renewable scholarships of $2000.00 each will be offered.

2026 Sheridan County Scholarship Application

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The applicant or applicant’s family must be a CURRENT member of Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation. Having an insurance policy with Mountain West Farm Bureau does not qualify as a Wyoming Farm Bureau Membership.
  • Applicants must have either graduated from a Sheridan County high school or home school (or equivalent) OR be in the graduation class of a Wyoming high school or home school when application is submitted.
  • Applicants must be enrolled full time or in the process of enrolling full time at any Wyoming community college, the University of Wyoming, or a Wyoming Trade school when the application is submitted.
  • College undergraduates are eligible to apply.
  • Application must be received by March 31st, 2585 Heartland Drive STE A, Sheridan, WY 82801.
  • Application forms will be available at Sheridan College, all county high schools and the Farm Bureau Insurance offices in Sheridan. The application form must be accompanied by a grade transcript, resume of applicant’s family Farm Bureau activity, including CURRENT membership, a recent photograph, and three (3) letters of recommendation stressing ability, character and financial need.
  • Applicants can apply for multiple years.

Sublette

—Deadline: March 1, 2026

Two $500 scholarships for seniors; one for each high school (Big Piney and Pinedale). Given to children of FB members; preference is given to those seeking agriculture major.

  • Parents must be active Sublette Co. Farm Bureau Federation Members
  • Transcripts from 9th grade to present
  • List of current classes
  • Verification of class rank
  • Letter of intent to attend college and where

Sweetwater

Sweetwater County Farm Bureau Scholarship Application

T S Taliaferro Scholarship

  • Applicant must be a minimum of a regular member of a Farm Bureau family in Sweetwater County.
  • Applicant must be planning to pursue further education with an accredited Wyoming institution or program.
  • Application must be received by March 15, by the Secretary of the Sweetwater County Farm Bureau, Box 81, Farson, WY  82932.
  • Application forms will be made available to Sweetwater County High Schools and the Farm Bureau Insurance offices. The application form must be accompanied by a recent photo, grade transcript, resume of applicant family’s Farm Bureau activities, and two letters of recommendation (i.e., from a Farm Bureau leader and school personnel). 
  • Applicant is eligible to reapply and receive the scholarship for a total of 8 semesters. To reapply, the applicant shall send a letter sharing recent activity and academic progress updates and include a copy of the most recent grade/progress report. 

Uinta

Uinta County Scholarship

$1,000

  • Turn into insurance office or to the County Board
  • It can be used at any university or two-year college or trade school, strong consideration for students staying in Wyoming
  • Preference given to students in an Ag Field, but open to others
  • Can get application from County Farm Bureau Insurance office or through County President or through their school
